    up to 3 x 10/100/1000 MBit with RJ45 jack

The Meinberg LANTIME M320 time server is used to provide highly accurate time to networks of all sizes. They synchronise all systems that are either NTP or SNTP compatible. As a reference time source, this NTP system typically use a built-in Meinberg reference clock or a compatible external time source (operating in stratum 1 mode). Up to 7 external NTP servers can also be set as time reference (operation as stratum 2 server).

Options for M320

Fiber Optical Network Connectors
  • Fiber-Optic Network Interfaces
  • Time Code Outputs - IRIG/AFNOR, PPM, Progr. Pulses
  • DCF77 Simulation
  • AC and DC Power Input
  • Redundant receiver and power supply configurations possible

Fiber Optic Interface:
For Customers with completely fiber optic based network infrastructure. Install your M320 network time servers directly - without the need for an external media converter.

Because of its modular system architecture it is possible to equip a LANTIME M320 Time Server with a number of different reference time sources. The M320 includes a Reference Clock that will synchronize to either GPS, DCF77(PZF), available IRIG/AFNOR Time Codes (TCR), or an MRS version which can synchronize to a combination of these with user-selectable priority and switchover time.

There are also several precision quartz oscillator options available for applications with higher accuracy and stability requirements. The oscillator determines the holdover characteristics (drift) when the Reference Clock signal is disturbed or temporarily unavailable. Output options include DC power input, additional network or serial ports, different serial string configurations, and frequency and pulse outputs.
